Document content stays local
Cell values, slide text, file paths, and workbook/deck contents are not uploaded to Navifia. The add-ins run inside Excel and PowerPoint on your Windows PC.
What license checks send
Activation and periodic validation send the license key, a hashed machine identifier, product name, and a request ID — enough to enforce the seat, not enough to reconstruct your model.
Diagnostics are content-free
The Diagnostics report includes Office/Windows versions, add-in version, and recent log lines. It is designed to exclude cell values, document text, and full license keys.
Beta installers are unsigned
During beta we ship unsigned EXE and MSI packages. Download only from navifia.com, compare the published SHA-256 checksum, and follow your company’s software policy.
Report a vulnerability
Email security@navifia.com. Please do not post exploit details publicly before we have had a chance to respond. Machine-readable contact details live in security.txt.
