Terms of Service
Last updated: July 17, 2026
These terms govern your use of navifia.com and the Navifia add-ins, provided by Navifia LLC ("Navifia," "we," "us"). By downloading, installing, or using Navifia, you agree to these terms and to our End User License Agreement and Privacy Policy.
The service
Navifia is a per-user subscription add-in for Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint on Windows. Each license activates the software on up to two devices at a time; you can move an activation to another device by deactivating it on a current one first.
Beta program
During the public beta period (July 17 through August 31, 2026), Navifia is provided free of charge. The beta is provided "as is," may contain bugs, and features may change or be removed before official release. Paid plans are planned after the August 31 cutoff. Beta keys remain valid through August 31, though we may end the beta or an individual beta key earlier when necessary and will give advance notice where reasonably possible.
Subscriptions (after official release)
- Billing is monthly or annual, in advance, charged automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
- We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to active subscribers; changes apply from your next billing cycle.
Refund policy
If you're not satisfied within the first 14 days of a paid subscription, email support@navifia.com for a full refund, no questions asked. After 14 days, subscription payments are non-refundable, but you can still cancel to stop future charges.
Acceptable use
Don't reverse-engineer, redistribute, resell, or sublicense the software (see the EULA for the full license terms), attempt to circumvent license activation, or use the service in a way that violates applicable law.
Your content
You retain all rights to the workbooks, presentations, and data you create or work with using Navifia. We don't access, transmit, or claim any rights over your content — see our Privacy Policy for exactly what does and doesn't leave your machine.
Your responsibility to verify results
Navifia is a productivity tool that assists with tasks such as calculations, data cleanup, consistency checks, and moving content between Excel and PowerPoint. It is not accounting, financial, tax, legal, or investment advice, and its outputs are not a substitute for your own professional judgment and review. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy and appropriateness of any figures, formulas, conversions, or documents produced or modified with Navifia before relying on, publishing, or distributing them. Automated aids such as variance calculations, number and period checks, and formula tracing are provided to help you review your work, not to guarantee it is correct or complete.
Warranty disclaimer
Navifia is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. We don't warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or that it will meet your requirements or produce accurate results. Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this disclaimer may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Navifia's total aggregate liability for any and all claims arising from or related to these terms, the EULA, or your use of (or inability to use) the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US$50. We're not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business, arising from or related to the service — even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages. These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability and even if a limited remedy is found to have failed its essential purpose. Because the beta is provided free of charge, our liability for beta use is limited to US$50 in the aggregate. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Navifia LLC and its owner from any claims, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms or the EULA, your infringement of any third party's rights, or your violation of applicable law.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms (including the EULA) and don't cure the breach within a reasonable time after notice. On termination, your right to use the software ends and the EULA's termination terms apply. Sections that by their nature should survive — including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — survive termination.
Force majeure
We're not responsible for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of third-party services we rely on (such as Microsoft Azure, Stripe, or our email provider), internet or infrastructure failures, or acts of nature.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The state and federal courts located in Wyoming have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the service, except that either party may pursue a qualifying claim in small-claims court. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms deprives you of the protection of any mandatory rights, or of the courts, available to you under the law of the country where you live.
Changes to these terms
We'll update the date above when these terms change, and notify active subscribers by email of material changes.
