PowerPoint · Elements

Navifia tab → Elements group — branded assets from Shapes.pptx (text boxes, source notes, data tables, logos). Configure pins under Tools → Configure → Settings… → Elements.

When to use it: drop firm text boxes / logos / tables onto a slide without hunting through a master deck.

Indicators and Mini chart are on the same Elements ribbon group — see Visual indicators. Stamps, Redact, and Transparency are on Tools — see Stamps, Redact & Transparency.

1. Where it lives

  • Up to three pinned assets as own buttons.
  • Insert element dropdown lists every configured asset from Shapes.pptx.

Out of the box, the installer factory setup lists Comment from the shipped Shapes.pptx in the Insert element menu (not pinned as its own button). Pin Text Box / Source Note / logos yourself under Settings if you want own-buttons.

2. Configure

  1. ConfigureSettings…Elements tab.
  2. Tick / rename / pin assets (max three own-buttons).
  3. Save — the ribbon updates immediately.

Replace Shapes.pptx in the templates folder the same way as layouts (Open folder / Getting started → Browse…).

3. Excel insert position

The same Settings… dialog has an Excel insert position tab — where a newly inserted Excel-linked shape lands on the slide. Dirty-guarded like the other tabs: Save only writes tabs you edited. Shared with Excel Export to PPT.

4. Insert an element

  1. Click a pinned button, or open Insert element and pick a named asset.
  2. Navifia inserts a copy onto the active slide.

Troubleshooting

  • Pinned buttons missing — Settings → Elements → Save; confirm Shapes.pptx is in the templates folder.
  • Unbranded look — teammate imported setup JSON but still has starter Shapes.pptx; replace the deck or point Browse… at the shared branded folder.
