.navifia.json.1. Export / Import setup (Excel)
Configure → Export setup / Import setup — writes or loads a shareable .navifia.json for Excel only (not interchangeable with the PowerPoint bundle).
Exports: keyboard shortcuts, Smart formatting cyclers, Quick sizing widths, Spotlight settings, Set Default house-style choices, Export-to-PowerPoint insert position.
Import: applies immediately (no restart). Insert position is mirrored into PowerPoint settings when present.
PowerPoint’s matching flow (layouts, elements, indicators, PPT shortcuts): PowerPoint · Configure.
Typical team rollout (Excel half)
- Lead configures Smart formatting, shortcuts, Quick sizing as needed.
- Excel Export setup → send the file → each person Import setup in Excel.
- Still run PowerPoint Export setup / Import setup separately for ribbon layouts and indicators.

Factory setup (installer)
On first run, if the installer placed factory-setup-excel.navifia.json in the Navifia Templates folder and the profile has never applied one, that bundle imports once automatically. The shipped file matches the add-in defaults for Paste same formula / Border / Custom (Ctrl+Shift+F / B / S), the Smart formatting variant lists in Smart formatting, Quick sizing widths (~15.33 / 20.61 / 31.22 cm), Spotlight (row+column, exclude active cell, #FFFF99), Set Default (Arial 10, hide gridlines, thin A1 corner), and Excel insert position (~1.32 cm / 3.5 cm). Existing user configs are never overwritten by this path.
Troubleshooting
- Import did nothing visible — wrong host file (Excel vs PowerPoint bundle); open the matching app.
- Insert position differs Excel vs PowerPoint — re-import the setup that carries insert position, or set it in PPT Settings and Export again.
